Pablo Iglesias gets Ana Pastor’s ‘The Target’ (El Objetivo) its highest ratings

Pablo Iglesias’ appearance on Ana Pastor’s program has gotten the show its highest audience share so far. More than three million people watched ‘The Target’ (El Objetivo) which was a 14,6% share of Sunday’s audience.
This is the first time Pastor’s show has ever reached the three million viewers mark since its debut on June, 2013. The interview to ‘Podemos’ leader has made it happen. Also, #ObjetivoPodemos has been one the main trending topics on Twitter even a day after the show’s air date.
“One of the hardest interviews I’ve ever given. It’s a great motivation to keep working harder and getting better”, Iglesias thanked the journalist on his personal Twitter account. It’s no secret the audience’s interest for this politician. For instance, last month, Iglesias appeared on Risto Mejide’s ‘Viajando con Chester’ on national channel ‘Cuatro’. The program scored its record then, getting 2.823.000 viewers, a 14,5% share of audience.
‘La Sexta’ aired two out of the three most watched shows on Sunday: ‘Salvados’ (3.034.000 viewers, 14,1% share of audience) and ‘The Target’ (El Objetivo). The first one of these two shows, hosted by Jordi Évole, was about citizens movements. Only the movie ‘The Hunger Games’ beat the two ‘La Sexta’ informative programs.

CW Adapting Spanish Apocalyptic Drama 'El Barco'

The CW is setting sail for a new world.
The younger-skewing network has put into development The Magellan, a drama based on hot Spanish format El Barco, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
The network has handed out a script commitment to the drama — from The Following alum Jennifer Johnson — that revolves around what happens when a mysterious global cataclysm strands a group of students, teachers and crew on a Semester at Sea sailboat. With the entire planet seemingly covered in water, they begin to wonder if they are the only survivors left. As they explore their strange — yet strangely beautiful — new world, this group of strangers must join forces to survive, all while facing the equally daunting challenges of friendship, family and even love.
